Directions: From Victory Square (near Dostuk Hotel) go south on Ibraimov Street (uphill, towards the mountains) to Moscovskaya Street (at second traffic lights). Turn left and go one block to Gogola Street. Central Mosque is on the northeast corner.
General Information: This is the Central Mosque of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This attractive and well kept mosque was open even during Soviet times. It is always open and the five daily prayers are held every day. There is a spacious courtyard and a prominent minaret.
