Very close to Hillside Ave. Close to Grand Central Parkway as well. | | General Information: | The Al-Mamoor Islamic School has a balanced combination of Islamic studies and the New York State academic curriculum. There is strong emphasis on Quran in both memorization and understanding the tafseer so that our students will know the Message that Allah (SWT) has sent to us. Our students will have memorized the last Juz with tajweed by third grade. Alongside Islamic achievements, Al-Mamoor Islamic School fosters the environment that allows students to love education resulting in higher standards than the average New York State curriculum based school. Our students have been in top ranks in intrastate speech competitions. To visit the school, please call ahead to make an appointment. Registration for next year is already in process. Seats are limited. There will not be any allowances once the limit has been reached.
