(5436) The Prohibition Of A Man Wearing A Garment Dyed With Safflower
حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمُوصِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ ثَوْبَيْنِ مُعَصْفَرَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَأُمُّكَ أَمَرَتْكَ بِهَذَا قُلْتُ أَغْسِلُهُمَا قَالَ بَلْ أَحْرِقْهُمَا
SAHIH HADITH:
Abdullah b. 'Amr reported: Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) saw me in two clothes dyed in saffron, whereupon he said: Has your mother ordered you to do so? And I said: I will wash them. He said: But burn them.
