Ramadan is the month to earn the most blessings by reciting the Holy Qur'an!

Ramadan is the month of peace, gratitude, kindness, and countless blessings. This Islamic month holds a special place in our hearts and religion for several reasons.

In addition to being the month of fasting, it was in this month that the Holy Qur’an was revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Considering the importance of this sacred month, we should all strive to recite as much Qur’an as possible during this time and earn several rewards.

Not to mention, finishing the Holy Qur’an during Ramadan gives us great peace of mind and adds to the list of good deeds performed during the Holy Month.

However, that said, it can still be a struggle for some Muslim brothers and sisters to finish the recitation of the Qur’an during Ramadan due to their busy schedules. If that’s the case with you, or if you’re wondering how you can manage this deed better this Ramadan, you can benefit from the following practical tips.

On average, there are approximately 600 pages in the Holy Qur’an.

Let’s suppose you want to complete the recitation of the Holy Qur’an once during this Ramadan without skipping a day.

In that case, if you divide 600 by 30 days, that will add up to 20 pages per day.

Now, you can either read 20 pages as per your convenience or divide these so that you’ll be reciting the Qur’an after each of the five obligatory prayers.

Supposing your schedule allows you to do the latter, and we divide the 20 pages with 5 times of Salah, it gets us 4. It means that you will only need to read 4 pages of the Holy Qur’an after each Salah to finish it easily during the Holy month.

Now, what if you want to finish reciting the Holy Qur’an twice during Ramadan?

In that case, let’s double the original amount. That means reciting 40 pages of the Holy Qur’an every day will get you to complete the recitation of the Holy Qur’an twice during Ramadan.

Moreover, reciting 8 pages of the Qur’an after every Salah will give you the same result.

What if you skip the recitation of the Holy Qur’an in-between?

Now that you know exactly how many pages to read per day to complete the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, you can now easily make up for the days you skip by adjusting the number of pages you read every day.

By keeping these calculations in mind, you will be able to complete the recitation of the Holy Qur’an with no problem at all!

May all our good deeds get accepted by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala as He showers us with several blessings. Ameen.
