INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup green cardamom
- 1 litre water
- 1 kg sugar
- 1/4 cup rose water
- ½ tsp green food color
- 1 pinch Citric acid (optional)
- 2-3 tbsp Cardamom sharbet
DIRECTIONS
- Add water and green cardamom in a bowl and keep it for 4 hours or overnight.
- Pour the soaked green cardamom into the chopper. Mix and set aside.
- Pour water in a pan and add green cardamom to boil for 12-15 minutes.
- Strain the cardamom mixture into a bowl.
- Pour strained cardamom water and sugar into a pan and mix.
- Add rosewater and cook at a light flame for 12-15 minutes.
- Add Green food color and citric acid and cook for 25-30 minutes more. Keep stirring the mixture to release all the flavours.
- Chill the mixture, and add in milk or water and serve.
