This American Society run by Muslims of NYC is helping raise Blood Donations for a Great Cause!

With more than 34 million donations of blood given annually worldwide, its time that fellow Muslim Brothers and sisters come together to contribute in something of worth beyond words. It is part of our Deen to assist others if we are well capable to. Nonetheless, it is one of the best acts of humanity!

Health benefits of donating blood include good health and reduced risk of cancer and hemochromatosis. It helps in reducing the risk of damage to liver and pancreas. Donating blood may also help in improving cardiovascular health as well as reducing obesity.

Community Blood Drive

Venue: Muslim American Society of Queens- Ibn Sina Center

This blood drive is to be held on 30th of August 2019, from 12pm to 6 pm at Ibn sina center. Join MAS Queens on their first blood drive. They will be collaborating with Bosnian Islamic Cultural Center (BICC) and also hosting the blood drive with NY Blood Center.

Annual Blood Drive

Muslim American Society Annual Blood Drive in Partnership with New York Blood Center is to be held this saturday. Walk-ins are also allowed on this drive. Participants must be 16 years or older and should weigh at least 110 lbs.
