كِتَٰبٌ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا يَكُن فِى صَدْرِكَ حَرَجٌ مِّنْهُ لِتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Kitabun onzila ilayka fala yakun fee sadrika harajun minhu litunthira bihi wathikra lilmumineena
è un Libro che è stato fatto scendere su di te, non sia, a causa sua, alcuna oppressione sul tuo petto, ché con esso tu ammonisca e sia un monito per i credenti.
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
IttabiAAoo ma onzila ilaykum min rabbikum wala tattabiAAoo min doonihi awliyaa qaleelan ma tathakkaroona
Seguite quello che vi è stato rivelato dal vostro Signore e non abbiate altri patroni, che Lui. Quanto poco ve ne ricordate!
وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ
Wakam min qaryatin ahlaknaha fajaaha basuna bayatan aw hum qailoona
Quante città abbiamo distrutte! Le colpì la Nostra severità di notte o durante il riposo notturno o pomeridiano.
فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ إِذْ جَآءَهُم بَأْسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Fama kana daAAwahum ith jaahum basuna illa an qaloo inna kunna thalimeena
Quando li colpì la Nostra severità, non poterono implorare, ma solo dire: “Sì, siamo stati ingiusti!”.
فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Falanasalanna allatheena orsila ilayhim walanasalanna almursaleena
Certamente interrogheremo coloro a cui inviammo e certamente interrogheremo gli inviati.
فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيْهِم بِعِلْمٍ وَمَا كُنَّا غَآئِبِينَ
Falanaqussanna AAalayhim biAAilmin wama kunna ghaibeena
Poi riferiremo loro [le loro azioni] con perfetta conoscenza, poiché mai siamo stati assenti.
وَٱلْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
Waalwaznu yawmaithini alhaqqu faman thaqulat mawazeenuhu faolaika humu almuflihoona
In quel Giorno la pesatura sarà conforme al vero e coloro, le cui bilance saranno pesanti, prospereranno,
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَظْلِمُونَ
Waman khaffat mawazeenuhu faolaika allatheena khasiroo anfusahum bima kanoo biayatina yathlimoona
mentre coloro le cui bilance saranno leggere, sono coloro che perderanno le anime, poiché hanno prevaricato sui Nostri segni.
وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
Walaqad makkannakum fee alardi wajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha qaleelan ma tashkuroona
In verità vi abbiamo posti sulla terra e vi abbiamo provvisti in essa di sostentamento. Quanto poco siete riconoscenti!
