Ali Dawah is a British-Turkish Muslim speaker and content creator who has spent over a decade sharing the message of Islam on the streets and online. His journey began in 2012 when, after hitting a low point in life, he embraced the light of Islam. Wanting to give back what Islam had given him, he stepped onto the streets with a camera in 2013.

Changing Minds on the Street

The busy streets became his classroom. His content captures raw, real conversations with atheists and skeptics, answering their questions using logic and Islamic teachings. He breaks down complex ideas into simple terms in a respectful and evidence-based approach, often catching people off guard with facts. Whereas, leading some to recite their Shahadah right there on the street.

A Decade of Dawah

With over a decade of work on the streets and more than a million subscribers and followers, he continues to spread the message of Islam, clear up misconceptions, and create inspiring content. Ali uses his online presence to speak out whenever he sees wrong and injustice.

Teaching 70,000 How to Pray

He co-founded the Salam Initiative, a project with one clear goal: teaching people across the globe how to perform Salah, Wudu, and read the Quran. It serves as an initiative of Sadaqah Jariyah that will continue to guide generations to come.

Serving Without Taking a Single Penny

Across all these years of doing dawah, he maintains that he has never taken a payment for his work and does it completely for free. Additionally, any donations collected go directly to the intended purpose.

For him, the reward from Allah is enough: "I don't get paid a single penny.“ Ali Dawah

Losing His Sight and Not Vision

Ali lives with retinitis pigmentosa, a condition that is slowly taking his eyesight. His peripheral vision is gone, leaving him with only central vision, and he is on track to be legally blind by age 40. However, he remains positive and is making changes in his daily life to adapt to the sight he still has. He stays faithful and determined to keep spreading his message.

As he shared on the Side by Side Podcast with Kazi Shafiqur Rahman:

“Trust in Allah got me out of a lot messes that I got into, Alhamdulillah, so to me, I know Allah will give me a way out”
