(3213) Supplicating For The Deceased When He Is Placed In His Grave
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا وَضَعَ الْمَيِّتَ فِي الْقَبْرِ، قَالَ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، هَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ.
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم placed the dead in the grave, he said: In the name of Allah, and following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. This is Muslim's version.
