(1607) Which Fruits Are Not To be Accepted As Zakat
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْأَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجُعْرُورِ، وَلَوْنِ الْحُبَيْقِ أَنْ يُؤْخَذَا فِي الصَّدَقَةِ . قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: لَوْنَيْنِ مِنْ تَمْرِ الْمَدِينَةِ. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَأَسْنَدَهُ أَيْضًا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ.
ZAEEF HADITH:
Abu Umamah bin Sahl reported on the authority of his father: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم prohibited to accept ja'rur and habiq dates as zakat. Az-Zuhri said: These are two kinds of the dates of Madina. Abu Dawud said: This has also been transmited by Abu al-Walid from Sulaiman bin Kathir from Az-Zuhri.
