حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: تَسَحَّرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قُمْنَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ ، قُلْتُ: كَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا؟، قَالَ: قَدْرُ قِرَاءَةِ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً .
SAHIH HADITH:
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that Zaid bin Thabit said: “We ate Suhur with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then we got up to perform prayer.” I said: “How long was there between the two?” He said: “As long as it takes to recite fifty Verses.”
