What to expect at 8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit

8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit will be held from 25-28 November 2021 in Istanbul Congress Centre, Istanbul-Turkey in association with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Standards and Metrology for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).

8th OIC Halal Expo and 7th World Halal Summit will be held from 25-28 November 2021 in Istanbul Congress Centre, Istanbul-Turkey in association with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Standards and Metrology for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).

The event is expected to:

1) Open conversation and dialogue around the demand and production of Halal food.

2) Bring together experts and investors under one roof to discuss the possible opportunities in the sector of Halal Certified Products.

3) Discuss how Halal Certified Products are high in demand not only among Muslims but also among Non-Muslims.

4) Discuss the new normal and the new era of Halal production and consumption.

5) Hold broad range of workshops, meetings and side-events as well as B2B Meetings Program with the participation of professional hosted buyers and delegates among other activities related to the definition of halal.

Last year, the event was held in a hybrid format with both offline and online international participation, bringing more than 9000 visitors from 55 different countries.
