How Do I Invite Others to Islam?

Salam O Alaikum!

It is our responsibility, as committed Muslims, to spread the message of the Qur’an and inspire others to learn more about our religion.

However, how one invites the other to Islam solely depends on who we’re speaking with and how we approach this subject. 

Keeping that in mind, there are some basic practices we can follow, as true believers of Allah (SWT) and His Prophet Muhammad (SAW), to help the cause. For example:

• Indirect Approach: We should make it a point to be exemplary Muslims ourselves. After all, high morals and good character count when highlighting Islam as the religion of truth.

• Direct Approach: Opening up to Non-Muslims about our religion while motivating them to speak about theirs can open a healthy dialogue. That’s when we can convince others to read the Qur’an without any prejudice - which, in itself, is a step in the right direction. 

Ultimately, it’s human nature to “want” to research more about something when subjected to logical discussion with no bias involved.

Indeed, Allah (SWT) is the Ultimate Judge, and He has better plans for us than we can ever perceive.
