Sardai Drink

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds (soaked)
  • 1 cup Almonds (soaked)
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp whole black pepper
  • 1 tsp Green Cardamom
  • 4 tbsp dried melon seeds
  • ½ cup water
  • Ingredients for Sardai:
  • Sardai Mixture (Already Prepared)
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 2 cup water
  • Crushed Almonds (as needed for topping)

For Sardai Mixture:

  1. First of all, add poppy seeds, soaked almonds, in a clay pot & grind them well (you can use mortar & pestle for this purpose)
  2. Then add sugar, whole black peppers, green cardamoms, dried melon seeds, & grind again
  3. Add ½ cup water & mix well by adding water again. Sardai mixture is ready


DIRECTIONS

  1. Put the sardai mixture (which is already prepared), ice cubes, 2 cup water in a grinder then grind well
  2. Take a muslin cloth & keep it in a bowl, then pour the grinded mixture (which we have prepared in previous step).
  3. pick up this cloth from the top and squeeze it until all the liquid mixture came out
  4. Add this squeezed mixture into glass then complete topping with the help of crushed almonds
  5. Your traditional sardai is ready to serve
