With more than 34 million donations of blood given annually worldwide, its time that fellow Muslim Brothers and sisters come together to contribute in something of worth beyond words. It is part of our Deen to assist others if we are well capable to. Nonetheless, it is one of the best acts of humanity!

Health benefits of donating blood include good health and reduced risk of cancer and hemochromatosis. It helps in reducing the risk of damage to liver and pancreas. Donating blood may also help in improving cardiovascular health as well as reducing obesity.

This is a great incentive taken by the Muslim American Society as thousands of people are out there who are in critical need for blood. May Allah(SWT) help those working for such causes and bestow them with Ajar (reward) along with making things easy for the whole Muslim Ummah. Ameen.
