Oku Surat QalamSure okuma
إِنَّا بَلَوْنَٰهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا۟ لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ
Inna balawnahum kama balawna ashaba aljannati ith aqsamoo layasrimunnaha musbiheena
Li abbiamo messi alla prova come abbiamo messo alla prova quelli del giardino che avevano giurato di fare il raccolto al mattino,
فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَآئِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ
Fatafa AAalayha taifun min rabbika wahum naimoona
Venne un uragano, proveniente dal tuo Signore, mentre dormivano:
فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَٱلصَّرِيمِ
Faasbahat kaalssareemi
e al mattino fu come se [il giardino] fosse stato falciato.
فَتَنَادَوْا۟ مُصْبِحِينَ
Fatanadaw musbiheena
L'indomani si chiamarono gli uni con gli altri, di buon mattino:
أَنِ ٱغْدُوا۟ عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰرِمِينَ
Ani ighdoo AAala harthikum in kuntum sarimeena
“Andate di buon'ora alla vostra piantagione, se volete raccogliere”.
فَٱنطَلَقُوا۟ وَهُمْ يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ
Faintalaqoo wahum yatakhafatoona
Andarono parlando tra loro a bassa voce:
أَن لَّا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُم مِّسْكِينٌ
An la yadkhulannaha alyawma AAalaykum miskeenun
“Che oggi non si presenti a voi un povero!”.
وَغَدَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ قَٰدِرِينَ
Waghadaw AAala hardin qadireena
Uscirono di buon'ora, in preda all'avarizia, pur avendo i mezzi [per fare l'elemosina].
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لَضَآلُّونَ
Falamma raawha qaloo inna ladalloona
Quando poi videro [quel che era avvenuto], dissero: “Davvero abbiamo sbagliato [strada]!
