Pilgrims commence Hajj by wearing Ihram and
performing Tawaf-al Ka'bah. They then perform Sae'y on the hills
of Safa and Marwa. After Sae'y, pilgrims leave for Mina and reach
there after dawn.
Pilgrims spend the entire day at Mina and
offer five salah beginning from the Dhuhr of 9th to Fajar to 10th
Pilgrims leave for Arafat after offering
Fajar at Mina, stay in Arafat till sunset, become a part of
Wuquf-e-Arafat and listen to Khutba-e-Hajj given at
Masjid-e-Nimra. Dhuhr and Asr prayer are then offered together. At
sunset, pilgrims leave for Muzdalifah where they offer Maghrib and
Isha prayers at the time of Isha and gather 49 pebbles for the
Pilgrims reach Mina after offering Fajar at
Muzdalifah. Ramy Jamarat is carried out with seven stones thrown
at each of the three Jamarah after which animals are sacrificed.
After the sacrifice, men shave their heads and women cut a lock of
their hair. Pilgrims then take off Ihram, wear normal clothes and
perform Tawaf before heading back to Mina to spend the night.
After performing ramy on the third day of
eid, pilgrims proceed to Ka'bah where the perform the farewell
pilgrimage. This marks the end of Hajj.
