The Millat Educational Society is a non-profit making registered organisation established on the 20th of August 1982 as the Nodal Educational Culture and Human Resources Development Centre based at Samastipur in Bihar, India. Over the years, the organisation has developed an efficient infrastructure to reach the lower strata of society. The organisation has grown into an umbrella institute of repute and established seven institutions of various disciplines. Both minority and the majority communities are among the beneficiaries. The Society is also working as a Nodal Agency known as Mother NGO identified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt.of India, New Delhi since 1999 for the implementation of its various health and welfare schemes. Shurooq is the time of sunrise, the time when the upper limb of the sun just starts to appear above the horizon. This marks the end time for Fajr (morning) prayer.
Qiyam
The term Qiyam-ul-layl, in the most literal sense, means to stand during the night. It is a voluntary prayer which is offered between the time of Ishaa prayer and the Fajr prayer (before dawn). The difference between Standard and Hanafi (Juristic Methods)
The only difference is in the Asr prayer. In the standard method (which is used by Imamas Shafii, Hanbali, and Maliki) the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is equivalent to its height, whereas in the Hanafi method the Asr prayer time starts when the shadow of an object is twice its height.
