(5035) How many times should one say ' May Allah have mercy on you' to one who sneezes?
حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَاهُ، قَالَ أبو داود: رَوَاهُ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
ZAEEF HADITH:
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Hurairah through a different chain from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. A transmitter Saeed bin Saeed said: I know him that he traced this tradition back to the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Abu Dawud said: Abu Nuaim transmitted it from Musa bin Qais, from Muhammad bin Ajlan, from Saeed, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.
