(2772) On Sending A Person Carrying Good News
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَلَا تُرِيحُنِي مِنْ ذِي الْخَلَصَةِ فَأَتَاهَا فَحَرَّقَهَا، ثُمَّ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَحْمَسَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَشِّرُهُ يُكْنَى أَبَا أَرْطَاةَ.
SAHIH HADITH:
Jarir (bin Abd Allaah) said “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to me “Why do you not give me rest from Dhu Al Khulasah? He went there and burned it. He then sent a man from Ahmas to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to give him good tidings. His surname was Artah.
