Top 5 Benefits of Reciting the Holy Quran

The Quran is the Holy Book of Allah that Muslims are tremendously blessed with, considering that it leads us to a life that’s void of sins and unruly acts. In other words, the Quran is a proper guide reflecting between the rights and wrongs so that we stick to the path that ultimately leads to Jannah.

There are several benefits of reciting the Holy Quran, especially when we make it a part of our everyday routine. For example, the top reasons to recite the Holy Book of Allah include:

1- It Brings Us Closer to Allah SWT

Reading words of Allah (SWT) in the Quran, particularly when the verses are recited with their meaning, is key to deepening our connection with our Maker. After all, words have the power to mend broken hearts and feed empty souls, making everything better at the end of the day.

2- Reciting Quran Saves Us From the Hell-Fire

Each word we recite of the Holy Quran speaks for us on the Day of Judgment, making themselves a means of saving us from the fire of hell.

3- We Are Gifted With High Status In This Life and the Hereafter

Furthermore, the recitation of the Holy Quran is one of the most loved deeds by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Not only do we get gifted with countless blessings in this life for this rightful deed but also in the Hereafter, where every blessing reflects as a pathway to Paradise.

4- Reciting Each Letter of the Quran Equals 10 Rewards

As per Hadith:

“Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”

[Tirmidhi: 2910]

5- Quran Is a Source of Spiritual Healing

Also, reciting the Holy Quran adjusts our mindset in the right direction so that we don’t go astray through the changes of life. Just like our body requires the right nourishment to lead a healthy life, our soul needs the Quran to strive for a sin-free existence.

So, let us recite the Holy Quran daily and reap the benefits of this Holy act in this world and in life that’s yet to come after death.
