Read Surah Abasawith translation
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّسْفِرَةٌ
Wujoohun yawmaithin musfiratun
அந்நாளில் சில முகங்கள் இலங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கும்.
ضَاحِكَةٌ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌ
Dahikatun mustabshiratun
சிரித்தவையாகவும், மகிழ்வுடையதாகவும் இருக்கும்.
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌ
Wawujoohun yawmaithin AAalayha ghabaratun
ஆனால் அந்நாளில் - (வேறு) சில முகங்கள், அவற்றின் மீது புழுதி படிந்திருக்கும்.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَفَرَةُ ٱلْفَجَرَةُ
Olaika humu alkafaratu alfajaratu
அவர்கள்தாம், நிராகரித்தவர்கள,; தீயவர்கள்.
إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
Itha alshshamsu kuwwirat
சூரியன் (ஒளியில்லாததாகச்) சுருட்டப்படும் போது
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ
Waitha alnnujoomu inkadarat
நட்சத்திரங்கள் (ஒளியிழந்து) உதிர்ந்து விழும்போது-
وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
Waitha alAAisharu AAuttilat
சூல் நிறைந்த ஒட்டகைகள் (கவனிப்பாரற்று) விடப்படும் போது-
وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
Waitha alwuhooshu hushirat
காட்டு மிருகங்கள் (மனிதர்களுடனும், இதர பிராணிகளுடனும்) ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படும்போது-
