يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
Yaslawnaha yawma alddeeni
in cui precipiteranno nel Giorno del Giudizio,
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
Wama adraka ma yawmu alddeeni
Chi mai ti farà comprendere cos'è il Giorno del Giudizio?
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
Thumma ma adraka ma yawmu alddeeni
E ancora, chi mai ti farà comprendere cos'è il Giorno del Giudizio?
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
Yawma la tamliku nafsun linafsin shayan waalamru yawmaithin lillahi
Il Giorno in cui nessun' anima potrà giovare ad un'[altra] anima in alcunché. In quel Giorno [tutto] il potere apparterrà ad Allah.
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
Allatheena itha iktaloo AAala alnnasi yastawfoona
che quando comprano esigono colma la misura,
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ
Waitha kaloohum aw wazanoohum yukhsiroona
ma quando sono loro a misurare o a pesare, truffano.
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ
Ala yathunnu olaika annahum mabAAoothoona
Non pensano che saranno resuscitati,
