Make an impact in thousands of lives from today.
Written by Rida Ghaffar
Have you ever wondered about the treasures in store for you when you offer charity for the sake of Allah (SWT)? Indeed, it is one’s way to show compassion towards the needy and comes with countless rewards, especially when given regularly!
The Holy Quran states:
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing. (Surah Baqarah:261)
Giving charity acts as a reminder for us Muslims to fulfill the needs of those who are not as privileged as you for the sake of humanity as well as Allah (SWT).
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
Contributing to charity initiatives is a great way to spend your hard-earned money for the right cause and make yourself feel great about the meaningful contribution you make.
Organizations, such as the ICNA Relief, spearhead numerous charitable initiatives that help make a living for thousands of people. From health and shelter services for the needy to disaster relief camps, they cover them all! So there are various options for you to choose from when you plan on giving back to the community.
Not sure where to start? ICNA Relief recently launched their Refugee Program, and they need your help! Join hands with ICNA today to assist these families in settling into their new homes and a society entirely new for them.
Donate for the refugees now at icnarelief.org/refugees and help thousands wear a smile from today.
