Upgrade Your Islamic Lifestyle With 3 Easy Duas

Salam O Alaikum,

As Muslims, we try our best to spend as much time remembering and praising Allah (SWT) as we do in our worldly chores. However, it is normal to feel like you are not doing enough. 

Here are three duas you can add to your daily routine and reap additional rewards as you go about your day at home or work. 

Dua for a blissful family life:

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

O my Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous. [Surah Al-Furqan - 25:74]

Dua for success:

وَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ

My success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return. [Surah Hud - 11:88]

Dua before sleeping:

اللَّهمَّ إِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِي وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا، إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا. اللَّهمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ العَافِيَةَ.

In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants. [Al-Muslim 4:2083]
