أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَرْتِيلًا
Aw zid AAalayhi warattili alqurana tarteelan
oppure poco più. E recita il Corano lentamente, distintamente.
إِنَّا سَنُلْقِى عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا
Inna sanulqee AAalayka qawlan thaqeelan
Faremo scendere su di te parole gravi.
إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّيْلِ هِىَ أَشَدُّ وَطْـًٔا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا
Inna nashiata allayli hiya ashaddu watan waaqwamu qeelan
In verità la preghiera della notte è la più efficace e la più propizia:
إِنَّ لَكَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا
Inna laka fee alnnahari sabhan taweelan
durante il giorno hai occupazioni impegnative.
وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا
Waothkuri isma rabbika watabattal ilayhi tabteelan
Menziona il Nome del tuo Signore e consacrati totalmente a Lui.
رَّبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلًا
Rabbu almashriqi waalmaghribi la ilaha illa huwa faittakhithhu wakeelan
Il Signore dell'Oriente e dell'Occidente: non c'è dio all'infuori di Lui. Prendi Lui come Protettore.
وَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا
Waisbir AAala ma yaqooloona waohjurhum hajran jameelan
Sopporta con pazienza quello che dicono e allontanati dignitosamente.
