Read Surah Qalamwith translation
نٓ وَٱلْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ
Noon waalqalami wama yasturoona
Nûn. Per il calamo e ciò che scrivono!
مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ
Ma anta biniAAmati rabbika bimajnoonin
Per Grazia di Allah tu non sei un folle,
وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ
Wainna laka laajran ghayra mamnoonin
e in verità ci sarà per te infinita ricompensa,
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
Wainnaka laAAala khuluqin AAatheemin
e in verità di un'immensa grandezza è il tuo carattere.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
Inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena
Il tuo Signore ben conosce chi si allontana dalla Sua via e ben conosce coloro che seguono la retta via.
فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Fala tutiAAi almukaththibeena
Non obbedire a coloro che tacciano di menzogna.
وَدُّوا۟ لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ
Waddoo law tudhinu fayudhinoona
Vorrebbero che tu fossi accondiscendente e allora sarebbero accondiscendenti anche loro.
وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ
Wala tutiAA kulla hallafin maheenin
Non dare ascolto ad alcun miserabile spergiuro,
