Every year, Ramadan is welcomed with zeal and zest by Muslims all over the world. From spending hours in Ibadah to deciding meals for the day, Ramadan is easily the favorite month for Muslims. And every year around this time, the one question which every individual asks is ‘What meal should I have for Suhur?’

Suhur (or sahari) is the pre-dawn meal which is very important during Ramadan since that is what one’s body thrives on all day and should be carefully planned for a steady diet plan that helps you stay healthy.

In order to retain your energies and maintain a healthy mind and body, it is vital to keep yourself hydrated, consume a well-balanced diet and make the right choice of food and drinks throughout this blessed month.

With the scorching heat of June and limited time for Suhur, it is difficult to prepare delicious and filling meals without having to spend hours in the kitchen, which is why we have compiled a list of 5 quick and easy meals for you to try in suhur this year.

Pizza Paratha (Bread)

The one thing that is undoubtedly part of every suhur is a paratha (bread). And just the name ‘pizza paratha’ sounds delicious and tempting. Just marinate chicken pieces and get your dough ready to rest in the fridge before you sleep. It takes just 5 minutes to cook chicken and get this pizza-licious treat ready!

Galawati Kebab

For those who love to eat kebab at suhur, this is going to be a treat for you. Marinate mince in a large quantity and freeze the mixture in small portions. Take out the frozen mince and just fry it to enjoy a delicious and fulfilling suhur.

Three-Bean Salad

If you want to eat healthy and lose some weight then here’s your meal. The three-bean salad, as the name suggests, is primarily a mixture of green beans, wax beans, and kidney beans, but you may add other vegetables and some olive oil for that extra flavor. It is low in calories and packed with proteins and fibers to give you the energy that you need.

Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

This mix of orange juice, bananas, and yogurt will satiate your stomach and soul with its freshness and distinctive taste.

Fruit Salad

Every meal consumed during suhur should be balanced with fruit salads. If you lack vitamins, the heat is bound to leave you weary. Which is why you should make sure that your body receives all the nutrients it requires and have a small bowl of fruit salad every day.
