Read Surah Adiyatwith translation
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedun
Invero è avido per amore delle ricchezze!
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alquboori
Non sa che, quando sarà messo sottosopra quello che è nelle tombe
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeerun
il loro Signore, in quel Giorno, sarà ben informato su di loro?
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
Wama adraka ma alqariAAatu
E chi potrà farti comprendere cos’è la Percotente?
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
Yawma yakoonu alnnasu kaalfarashi almabthoothi
Il Giorno in cui gli uomini saranno come falene disperse,
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
Watakoonu aljibalu kaalAAihni almanfooshi
e le montagne come fiocchi di lana cardata,
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Faamma man thaqulat mawazeenuhu
colui le cui bilance saranno pesanti
