(6120) “And if you do not feel ashamed, then do whatever you like.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مَوْلَى أَنَسٍ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ: اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، يَقُولُ: "كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا".
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Abu Mas`ud: The Prophet said, 'One of the sayings of the early Prophets which the people have got is: If you don't feel ashamed (from Haya': pious shyness from committing religeous indiscretions) do whatever you like. (See Hadith No 690, 691, Vol 4)
