(1188) The superiority of offering As-Salat (the prayer) in the Mosque of Makkah (Al-Masjid-al-Haram) and Al-Madina (the Mosque of the Prophet )

Narrated Quza'a: I heard Abu Said saying four words. He said, I heard the Prophet (saying the following narrative). He had participated in twelve holy battles with the Prophet.

(1189) The superiority of offering As-Salat (the prayer) in the Mosque of Makkah (Al-Masjid-al-Haram) and Al-Madina (the Mosque of the Prophet )

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Do not set out on a journey except for three Mosques i.e. Al-Masjid-AI-Haram, the Mosque of Allah's Apostle , and the Mosque of Al-Aqsa, (Mosque of Jerusalem).

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, One prayer in my Mosque is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque excepting Al-Masjid-AI-Haram.

(1191) The Masjid Quba (the Mosque of Quba)

Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar never offered the Duha prayer except on two occasions: (1) Whenever he reached Mecca; and he always used to reach Mecca in the forenoon. He would perform Tawaf round the Ka`ba and then offer two rak`at at the rear of Maqam Ibrahim. (2) Whenever he visited Quba, for he used to visit it every Saturday. When he entered the Mosque, he disliked to leave it without offering a prayer. Ibn `Umar narrated that Allah's Apostle used to visit the Mosque of Quba (sometime) walking and (sometime) riding.

(1192) The Masjid Quba (the Mosque of Quba)

And he (i.e. Ibn `Umar) used to say, I do only what my companions used to do and I don't forbid anybody to pray at any time during the day or night except that one should not intend to pray at sunrise or sunset.

(1193) Whoever visited the mosque of Quba every Saturday

Narrated `Abdullah bin Dinar: Ibn `Umar said, The Prophet used to go to the Mosque of Quba every Saturday (sometimes) walking and (sometimes) riding. `Abdullah (Ibn `Umar) used to do the same.

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet used to go to the Mosque of Quba (sometimes) walking and sometimes riding. Added Nafi` (in another narration), He then would offer two rak`at (in the Mosque of Quba).

(1197) The mosque of Bait-ul-Maqdis (Jerusalem)

Narrated Qaza'a Maula: (freed slave of) Ziyad: I heard Abu Sa`id Al-khudri narrating four things from the Prophet and I appreciated them very much. He said, conveying the words of the Prophet. (1) A woman should not go on a two day journey except with her husband or a Dhi-Mahram. (2) No fasting is permissible on two days: `Id-ul-Fitr and `Id-ul-Adha. (3) No prayer after two prayers, i.e. after the Fajr prayer till the sunrises and after the `Asr prayer till the sun sets. (4) Do not prepare yourself for a journey except to three Mosques, i.e. Al-Masjid-AI-Haram, the Mosque of Aqsa (Jerusalem) and my Mosque.

Improve your location’s accuracy

    4. Tap Mode and then High accuracy.
    If you still get an error when you open IslamicFinder, follow the step 2.

    1. In the top right, tap More
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Under "Advanced", tap Site Settings
    4. Tap Location. If you see a toggle, make sure it turned on and blue.
      1. If you see "Location access is turned off for this device," tap the blue words > on the next Settings screen, tap the toggle to turn on location access.
      2. If you see "blocked" under "Location," tap Blocked > tap IslamicFinder > Clear & reset.
    5. Open IslamicFinder in your mobile browser and refresh the web page
    If you're using a browser other than Chrome, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.

    1. Open Settings app.
    2. Tap Privacy > Location Services > Safari Websites.
    3. Under "Allow Location Access," tap While Using the app.

    1. Open settings app.
    2. Tap General > Reset.
    3. Tap Reset Location & Privacy.
    4. If prompted, enter your passcode.
    5. You will see a message that says "This will reset your location and privacy settings to factory defaults." Tap Reset Settings.
    6. Open Safari
    7. Go to IslamicFinder
    8. To give Safari access to your location, tap Allow or OK
    9. To give IslamicFinder access to your location, tap OK
  3. If you are using a browser other than Safari, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.
