(6188) The statement of the Prophet : “Name yourselves by my name, but do not call yourselves by my Kunyah.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ"سَمُّوا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي".
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Abu-l-Qasim (The Prophet) said, Name yourselves by my name, but do not call yourselves by my Kuniya.
