حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ، فَقُولُوا: وَعَلَيْكُمْ".
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Anas bin Malik: the Prophet said, If the people of the Scripture greet you, then you should say (in reply), 'Wa'alaikum (And on you).'
