(6703) To vow for something which one does not possess, and to vow for something sinful
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ: أَنَّ طَاوُسًا، أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ يَقُودُ إِنْسَانًا بِخِزَامَةٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ، فَقَطَعَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُودَهُ بِيَدِهِ".
SAHIH HADITH:
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: While performing the Tawaf around the Ka`ba, the Prophet passed by a person leading another person by a hair-rope nose-ring in his nose. The Prophet cut the hair-rope nose-ring off with his hand and ordered the man to lead him by the hand.
