Hadith 425 of the book of as-salat (the prayer) by sahih al bukhari

(425) About (taking) the mosques in the houses

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عِتْبَانَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏"أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ أَنْكَرْتُ بَصَرِي وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي لِقَوْمِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا كَانَتِ الْأَمْطَارُ سَالَ الْوَادِي الَّذِي بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ لَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ آتِيَ مَسْجِدَهُمْ فَأُصَلِّيَ بِهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَوَدِدْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَّكَ تَأْتِينِي فَتُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِي فَأَتَّخِذَهُ مُصَلًّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَفْعَلُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ عِتْبَانُ:‏‏‏‏ فَغَدَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ حِينَ ارْتَفَعَ النَّهَارُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَذِنْتُ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَبَّرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُمْنَا فَصَفَّنَا فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَبَسْنَاهُ عَلَى خَزِيرَةٍ صَنَعْنَاهَا لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَثَابَ فِي الْبَيْتِ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدَّارِ ذَوُو عَدَدٍ فَاجْتَمَعُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ مَالِكُ بْنُ الدُّخَيْشِنِ أَوِ ابْنُ الدُّخْشُنِ؟ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ ذَلِكَ مُنَافِقٌ لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏تَقُلْ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَا تَرَاهُ قَدْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّا نَرَى وَجْهَهُ وَنَصِيحَتَهُ إِلَى الْمُنَافِقِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَرَّمَ عَلَى النَّارِ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَبْتَغِي بِذَلِكَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ"، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُ الْحُصَيْنَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَهُوَ أَحَدُ بَنِي سَالِمٍ وَهُوَ مِنْ سَرَاتِهِمْ عَنْ حَدِيثِ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ فَصَدَّقَهُ بِذَلِكَ.

SAHIH HADITH:

Narrated `Itban bin Malik: who was one of the companions of Allah's Apostle and one of the Ansar's who took part in the battle of Badr: I came to Allah's Apostle and said, O Allah's Apostle I have weak eyesight and I lead my people in prayers. When it rains the water flows in the valley between me and my people so I cannot go to their mosque to lead them in prayer. O Allah's Apostle! I wish you would come to my house and pray in it so that I could take that place as a Musalla. Allah's Apostle said. Allah willing, I will do so. Next day after the sun rose high, Allah's Apostle and Abu Bakr came and Allah's Apostle asked for permission to enter. I gave him permission and he did not sit on entering the house but said to me, Where do you like me to pray? I pointed to a place in my house. So Allah's Apostle stood there and said, 'Allahu Akbar', and we all got up and aligned behind him and offered a two-rak`at prayer and ended it with Taslim. We requested him to stay for a meal called Khazira which we had prepared for him. Many members of our family gathered in the house and one of them said, Where is Malik bin Al-Dukhaishin or Ibn Al-Dukhshun? One of them replied, He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Apostle. Hearing that, Allah's Apostle said, Do not say so. Haven't you seen that he said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah' for Allah's sake only? He said, Allah and His Apostle know better. We have seen him helping and advising hypocrites. Allah's Apostle said, Allah has forbidden the (Hell) fire for those who say, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah' for Allah's sake only.

Improve your location’s accuracy

Sometimes we might have trouble finding where you are located. Having your current location will help us to get you more accurate prayer times and nearby Islamic places. Here are some things you can do to help fix the problem.

  1. In the top right, click More
  2. Click Settings and then Show advanced settings.
  3. In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings.
    1. In the dialog that appears, scroll down to the "Location" section. Select one of these permissions:
    2. Allow all sites to track your physical location: Select this option to let all sites automatically see your location.
    3. Ask when a site tries to track your physical location: Select this option if you want Google Chrome to alert you whenever a site wants to see your location.
    4. Do not allow any site to track your physical location: Select this option if don't want any sites to see your location.
  4. Click Done.
  1. Open System Preferences and then Security & Privacy Preferences and then Privacy and then Location Services.
  2. To allow for changes, click the lock in the bottom left.
  3. Check "Enable Location Services."
  1. Turn on location
    1. On your phone or tablet, open the Settings app.
    2. Tap Location.
    3. At the top, switch location on.
    4. Tap Mode and then High accuracy.
    If you still get an error when you open IslamicFinder, follow the step 2.
  2. Open Chrome
    1. In the top right, tap More
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Under "Advanced", tap Site Settings
    4. Tap Location. If you see a toggle, make sure it turned on and blue.
      1. If you see "Location access is turned off for this device," tap the blue words > on the next Settings screen, tap the toggle to turn on location access.
      2. If you see "blocked" under "Location," tap Blocked > tap IslamicFinder > Clear & reset.
    5. Open IslamicFinder in your mobile browser and refresh the web page
    If you're using a browser other than Chrome, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.
  1. Turn on location
    1. Open Settings app.
    2. Tap Privacy > Location Services > Safari Websites.
    3. Under "Allow Location Access," tap While Using the app.
  2. Give current location access on your browser
      Safari
    1. Open settings app.
    2. Tap General > Reset.
    3. Tap Reset Location & Privacy.
    4. If prompted, enter your passcode.
    5. You will see a message that says "This will reset your location and privacy settings to factory defaults." Tap Reset Settings.
    6. Open Safari
    7. Go to IslamicFinder
    8. To give Safari access to your location, tap Allow or OK
    9. To give IslamicFinder access to your location, tap OK
    3. If you are using a browser other than Safari, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.
