Hadith 7524 of the book of tauhid (islamic monotheism) by sahih al bukhari

(7524) The Statement of Allah: “Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)) to make haste therewith. (V.75:16) And the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) did that at the time of the revelation of the Divine Revelation

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى:‏‏‏‏ لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ سورة القيامة آية 16، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ"يُعَالِجُ مِنَ التَّنْزِيلِ شِدَّةً وَكَانَ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ:‏‏‏‏ فَأَنَا أُحَرِّكُهُمَا لَكَ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَرِّكُهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا أُحَرِّكُهُمَا كَمَا كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَرِّكُهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَحَرَّكَ شَفَتَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:‏‏‏‏ لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ ‏‏‏‏ 16 ‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْءَانَهُ ‏‏‏‏ 17 ‏‏‏‏ سورة القيامة آية 16-17، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَمْعُهُ فِي صَدْرِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ تَقْرَؤُهُ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُ سورة القيامة آية 18، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَاسْتَمِعْ لَهُ وَأَنْصِتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ تَقْرَأَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام اسْتَمَعَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا انْطَلَقَ جِبْرِيلُ قَرَأَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا أَقْرَأَهُ".

SAHIH HADITH:

Narrated Musa bin Abi `Aisha: Sa`id bin Jubair reported from Ibn `Abbas (regarding the explanation of the Verse: 'Do not move your tongue concerning (the Qur'an) to make haste therewith) . He said, The Prophet used to undergo great difficulty in receiving the Divine Inspiration and used to move his lips.' Ibn `Abbas said (to Sa`id), I move them (my lips) as Allah's Apostle used to move his lips. And Sa`id said (to me), I move my lips as I saw Ibn `Abbas moving his lips, and then he moved his lips. So Allah revealed:-- '(O Muhammad!) Do not move your tongue concerning (the Qur'an) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect it and give you (O Muhammad) the ability to recite it. (i.e., to collect it in your chest and then you recite it).' (75.16-17) But when We have recited it, to you (O Muhammad through Gabriel) then follow you its recital.' (75.18) This means, You should listen to it and keep quiet and then it is upon Us to make you recite it. The narrator added, So Allah's Apostle used to listen whenever Gabriel came to him, and when Gabriel left, the Prophet would recite the Qur'an as Gabriel had recited it to him.

Improve your location’s accuracy

  1. Open System Preferences and then Security & Privacy Preferences and then Privacy and then Location Services.
  2. To allow for changes, click the lock in the bottom left.
  3. Check "Enable Location Services."

    1. On your phone or tablet, open the Settings app.
    2. Tap Location.
    3. At the top, switch location on.
    4. Tap Mode and then High accuracy.
    If you still get an error when you open IslamicFinder, follow the step 2.
  2. Open Chrome
    1. In the top right, tap More
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Under "Advanced", tap Site Settings
    4. Tap Location. If you see a toggle, make sure it turned on and blue.
      1. If you see "Location access is turned off for this device," tap the blue words > on the next Settings screen, tap the toggle to turn on location access.
      2. If you see "blocked" under "Location," tap Blocked > tap IslamicFinder > Clear & reset.
    5. Open IslamicFinder in your mobile browser and refresh the web page
    If you're using a browser other than Chrome, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.
  1. Turn on location
    1. Open Settings app.
    2. Tap Privacy > Location Services > Safari Websites.
    3. Under "Allow Location Access," tap While Using the app.
  2. Give current location access on your browser
      Safari
    1. Open settings app.
    2. Tap General > Reset.
    3. Tap Reset Location & Privacy.
    4. If prompted, enter your passcode.
    5. You will see a message that says "This will reset your location and privacy settings to factory defaults." Tap Reset Settings.
    6. Open Safari
    7. Go to IslamicFinder
    8. To give Safari access to your location, tap Allow or OK
    9. To give IslamicFinder access to your location, tap OK
    3. If you are using a browser other than Safari, visit your browser's help center by visiting their website.
